Club Rules & Submission Guidelines

Photography Bangladesh: Food, Sports & Nature Edition values respectful and responsible photography. For submissions, please follow these rules: only submit original work taken by you, avoid images that depict harm, illegal activity, or unsafe behavior, and do not submit images that contain nudity, hateful or offensive content, or identifiable personal data of private individuals without consent. Accepted file formats are JPG, PNG, or WEBP. Each uploaded file must be less than 1MB in size when uploaded to the student server — large masters may be reduced for web display. When composing your submission, avoid misrepresenting location, events, or manipulative edits that could mislead viewers. The club reserves the right to remove any image that violates these core guidelines.

File naming and metadata: please include descriptive filenames such as “street_food_dhaka.jpg,” “bangladesh_cricket_stadium.jpg,” or “sundarbans_mangrove.jpg” and add a short caption and location in the submission mail. Contributors are encouraged to provide a short description (50–150 words) explaining where and when the photo was taken, what it depicts, and any special techniques used.

Editing: Image submissions should be edited responsibly. Standard color correction, cropping, and basic retouching are allowed, but extreme composition-altering edits should be disclosed. By submitting, you confirm you own the rights to the image and grant the club permission to display the photo on the site and in club promotional materials.
